New Year's Eve

Well, the plan was to post some pictures from the Christmas holidays, but I haven't quite gotten around to even putting them on the computer yet. I'm new to this whole blogging thing, so I have been a little behind in updating......Maybe the new year will inspire me to keep up a little better. Only time will tell!!

The Hernandez Family has enjoyed a blessed 2008. God has been so good to us, so much better than we deserve. We are excited to see what He has in store for us in 2009. Tonight, as we received the vision of the church for 2009, we prayed for renewal and revival. May we see renewal and revival in our home, along with the many blessings and promises that God has for us. Be blessed in 2009! We plan to be!!!

Christmas cards and sick days

So, I had to take Abigail back to the Dr. today with her usual symptoms. We received an array of antibiotics, cough medicines, steroids, nebulizer meds, and inhaler refills. Fun times!!! She is such a good sport, though! You wouldn't even know by her attitude that she's sick until she starts with the coughing. Hopefully, we will get this knocked out!!

Long time, no post

Well, it has been literally months since the last post. Lots of things have happened, but busy mommy blogger hasn't taken the time to blog and document it.

Angel is working at new job that he absolutely loves, and is really learning a lot.
Abigail is loving Kindergarten this year, and is learning to read! What a smart girl!!
Jaclyn is trying to finish up this term of school and try to enjoy the holidays...

Well, I didn't get pictures posted the next day, but here are a few to enjoy. We enjoyed a great day at the beach. Abigail loved the ocean, and did not want to leave. It was super fun!!.....Oh, well...I can't get the pictures attached right now. Will try again later.

No puse las fotos el dia siguiente, pero ahora hay algunas para que pueden verlas. Tuvimos un buen dia en la playa. Abigail estaba encantada con la playa, y no queria salir. Era maravillosa!....No puedo poner las fotos ahorita; voy a tratar mas despues.

Mexico 2008

We just returned from Jaclyn and Abigail's first trip to Mexico, where they met Angel's family for the first time. It was fabulous!! We spent time at Ana and Miguel's old house, and the house that they are moving into. Ana is Angel's sister, and Miguel is her husband. Angel's mother, Margarita, joined us in Ciudad Acuña. We had wonderful Mexican food, visited a beatiful dam and lake, and just had great quality time. Abigail loved it so much, she did not even want to leave! She loved her cousins, Karen and Eric, and they loved her too! On the way home, we were able to stop and spent a little time with Angel's father. This was a great time to see father and son together. Angel's father was so happy to finally meet Abigail and Jaclyn. We were blessed to be able to spend this time with Angel's family.

Acabamos de llegar de la visita primera a Mexico por Jaclyn y Abigail, donde ellas conocieron a la familia de Angel por la primera vez. ¡Fue fabuloso! Nos quedamos en la casa vieja y la casa nueva de Ana y Miguel. Ana es la hermana de Angel, y Miguel es su esposo. La madre de Angel, Margarita, se reunió con nosotros en Ciudad Acuña. Tuvimos comida Mexicana maravillosa, fuimos a ver una presa, y compartimos un buen tiempo de familia. A Abigail le gusto tanto que ella no queria salir de Mexico. Ella se enamoró de sus primos, Karen y Eric, y ellos estaban lo mismo. Cuando estabanos regresando, fuimos a visitar al padre de Angel. Estaba bueno para ver padre y hijo juntos. El padre de Angel, Jose, estaba muy alegre para conocer a Abigail y Jaclyn. Eramos bendicidos a tener este tiempo con la familia de Angel.
